About

Hello internet visitor! You've come across the home page of Seattle-based mechanical engineer, Kevin Kadooka.

I recently received my Ph.D from University of Washington, where I conducted research on soft and flexible electroactive actuators and sensors for artificial skin and muscle. My background is firmly in mechanical engineering, though I'm also an avid photography enthusiast and enjoy designing embedded electronics as well. Lately I spend more time building cameras and assorted apparatus than behind the viewfinder.
